Annai Therasa Makkal Sevai Maiyam
We registered non-profit organisation based in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. Founded in the year 2012, ATMSM is registered as a society under Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975.
ATMSM is a collective of deprived women members founded with the overall aim of “empowering the marginalised women in the district through holistic development intervention programmes” such as women empowerment & economic development through microfinance, livelihood promotion through skill training, facilitating access to government schemes, HIV/AID prevention & care, legal aid and counselling services, etc.
Its main objective is to address the developmental needs of its member through livelihood and civic initiative and to create a distinct identity for itself as a community institution-owned, managed and run by the community themselves.

Annai Therasa Makkal Sevai Maiyam (ATMSM) is a collective of women members and presently has a membership of over 1700 women members from economically backward families in 14 blocks of Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu.
ATMSM works for the empowerment of deprived women- poor, destitute, widow, sex workers, HIV/AIDS affected, etc and their family members mainly the children through various development intervention programs.
